We are providing the following information on the hotel we have chosen for our Reunion. We wanted to let you know the dates and the hotel information so you can make your plans to attend next year. October is a beautiful time to be in Charleston and the weather is much cooler. We will follow up soon with the rest of the plans and costs. We are working with the Hotel Representative for our welcome reception and banquet and are pleased with the selections and cost.
Location, Location, Location: The Doubletree is located in the heart of the Charleston Historic District overlooking the Market and just steps from the King Street Boutiques, Carriage Rides, Rainbow Row and many historic and beautiful homes and many tours to places like Fort Sumter, the USS Yorktown, several local Plantation homes (one used in the TV movie North & South) and much more.
This beautiful hotel has the largest one and two bedroom suites in the area plus oversized deluxe King rooms. We are fortunate to have these rooms offered to us at a charge of $167.63 (including tax) per day regardless of room type. The Saturday rate will be $229 per day.
We are hoping to get feedback from all of you regarding the types of tours you would like and also would like to know how many think they will be attending.
